OUR MISSION

The faculty and staff of No Bounds are on a mission to educate, expose, and provide experiences for people with intellectual disabilities, their families, educators, mentors, healthcare providers, law enforcement, and business communities.

The mission is to embrace inclusivity, dignify diversity, and understand equitable opportunities through the world of people with intellectual disabilities. In this effort, we will build culturally responsible communities one day at a time.

How We’re Unique

No Bounds will be the center clients will come to. We offer classes Monday-Thursday. Social/emotional and behavioral challenges are addressed at all times on-site. Currently the executive director allows a line of communication between families and her, in order to grow the progress of each client. Progress is at their pace.

Employment, whether part-time or full-time will be paced and guided, with fully aware employers.

No Bounds intends to give the responsibility to the AWID, their families, educators, mentors, healthcare providers, law enforcement, and business communities, instead of isolating the services to the AWID only. The programs utilize a wholesome and wide variety of community members who all have an invested interest.

No Bounds is also language-accessible and inclusive. Individuals that may be partly nonverbal, make use of ASL, have speech disorders, or have non-native English language will be supported as best they can. Dr. Bhandari speaks several languages, volunteers and mentors are encouraged to utilize their own foreign language skills, and families and guardians are welcome to work with their individual side-by-side if needed as extra supports. No Bounds works in spite of any language barriers.
