Brian's Earliest Memories

An entry from Brian about his earliest memories.

My earliest memory was around 8 or 9 where my family occasionally would go to Brooks Byrd pharmacy (a local pharmacy where you could get fountain drinks such as an orange, lemon, or lemon lime or possibly even orange lime, if that was your favorite). This went on periodically throughout my childhood, and early adulthood years and was one way to symbolize family time and bonding. Unfortunately, recently the owners of the pharmacy retired and had decided to close the pharmacy instead of selling it, which eliminates the opportunity to enjoy something like those drinks in the future, but it still symbolizes positive memories for me that I will cherish forever.
