KEVIN NEWBY

ECPI Campus President

Kevin Newby is the Campus President for ECPI University Roanoke. He holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in psychology from Brigham Young University and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University. He also holds graduate certifications in counseling and student affairs from Colorado State University. Kevin started his career working in human services providing treatment services for young people with behavioral disorders and intellectual disabilities. Kevin has spent the last twenty years working in higher education in enrollment management and as a campus president. Kevin has been involved as a board member for the YMCA of Greenville and Make-A-Wish of South Carolina. He has also spent the last thirty years working with the Boy Scouts of America in carious capacities including Unit Director. Kevin has been married to his beautiful wife for thirty-four years and has two children and three grandchildren. He enjoys hiking in the mountains with his dog.

Tina Bhandari

BEN TUCK

Ben Tuck was born and raised in Pulaski County, Virginia. He graduated from Radford University with a bachelor’s in business administration in finance. Ben has worked in the insurance and financial industry since 2010. He currently works as a financial advisor in Fairlawn, Virginia. He is an active member of the Radford Noon Rotary Club and the Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce. He currently resides in the New River Valley with his daughter Rosalita and his fiancee Priyam. In his free time he enjoys attending local events, outdoor activities, and spending time with his family.


JEFFREY VAN DOREN

Jeffrey is an experienced Immigration and Employment Law attorney and advisor who practices law in Roanoke and Blacksburg, Virginia. Listed in the Best Lawyers in America for Immigration law, he concentrates on assisting US-based and foreign companies and their employees with their business immigration needs. He represents both public and private employers in securing non-immigrant (temporary) and immigrant (permanent) Visas on behalf of employers and employees. He also advises clients on family immigration and the immigration consequences of criminal charges. Jeffrey also has extensive experience representing clients in discrimination, wrongful discharge, wage and hour, breach of contract and other employment claims before federal and state courts.

Melinda Boyd

Melinda Boyd was born in Daleville, Virginia and raised in Halifax County, Virginia. Melinda is currently studying for her bachelor’s in business administration. Melinda has worked in educational finance since 2016. She is currently employed at ECPI University and serves as the Director of Financial Assistance. She is a graduate of the Roanoke Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program (2023) and loves to network in the community. Melinda currently resides in Roanoke, Virginia with her husband, Steadman Soles, and son, August Soles.

AARON HALL

Aaron Hall has a degree in Health and Human Performance. He says he “stumbled upon No Bounds by chance, but it could have been fate.” Aaron’s own brother Matthew was previously involved in a basketball program for the Special Olympics community, when he met Dr Bhandari. He claims the rest was history. Aaron’s role is keeping the students active and finding ways to engage them in physical activity; he has been a coach for the Virginia Soccer Team for the Special Olympics USA Games, as well as a coach for No Bounds’ bocce team. He focuses on the travel aspect of the programs, as he believes it is crucial for the students to go to events, make new connections, and develop social skills. He invites people to come watch our students play and guarantees that, to anyone seeing them for the first time, people “will understand the importance of our mission.”
